The 222 2nd Street Building is a premier, Class A office tower located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district. Pacific Coast Teak, Inc. supplied the 222 2nd Street project with FSC plantation grown Teak lumber. The Teak lumber will be featured in the Lobby and Elevator area, covering the walls and ceiling.

Pacific Coast Teak, Inc. CEO Don Whitmore hand selected the trees from the plantations for this project. Milled, graded, color matched and shipped the teak lumber to the US prior to commencement of the project. It took 30,000 board feet to supply this job. The lumber came from sustainably grown plantations in Central and South America. *Lumber is the only 100% renewable building material.*

Our teak is FSC Certified (Forest Stewardship Council) sustainably grown, plantation Teak. https://us.fsc.org/what-we-do.186.htm
